The Tilt Pay API follows the RESTful style with resource-oriented URLs, standard HTTP response codes, authentication and verbs, following the standards and conventions outlined in PayPal’s API Design Guidelines as much as possible.

Ensure that you are sending funds to the right customer by looking up their account before transacting (where supported by the institution)
Send funds to a recipient in two ways; either as a voucher or a direct transfer into an account with any institution supported by Tilt Pay
Receive funds from a customer in a variety of ways:
Create an invoice they can pay with cash or from a mobile wallet;
Create a cash-in or deposit code for their account on your platform so they can deposit funds with ease;
Request an immediate payment via USSD push for the customer to approve or reject using their mobile wallet (request-to-pay)
Tilt Pay’s offering can be divided into three main features:
Accept payment for orders immediately via request-to-pay or by creating an invoice code to allow the customer to pay with cash or in their own time using Tilt’s USSD self-service.
